If awards are anything to go by than the Brandenburger Hof Hotel is a primus inter pares amongst Berlin hotels. In 2008 alone, garlands included citation as “one of the 3 top ambiance hotels in Germany”, “Award for excellent hosts and superb selection of wines” and “3rd place for small business hotels of Germany”. Marcellino’s Restaurant Report gave it 9 points out of a possible 10 for Cuisine and 10 points for its wine list (see below). There’s more where that came from but we think you get the drift – this is an award-winning and exclusive hotel in the very heart of Berlin. Exquisite style and atmosphere go hand in hand here. The red carpet treatment comes as standard at the Brandenburger, so service is discreetly impeccable, never over the top, but staff (with superb uniforms, we must say) are always on hand to help should you need it.

With 72 spacious rooms, it is not a particularly small hotel, but no matter, the atmosphere is always boutique like, never corporate or impersonal. One of the, many, highlights of a stay here includes dining at the Die Quadriga, restaurant. The selection of beverages alone takes in 850 different wines (hence the 10 out of 10 above). Given the luxury on hand, the Brandenburger is an ideal place for anyone coming to Berlin and splashing out on a special treat.

Suites - all named after operas and face the courtyard garden;

Junior Suites - 6 in all. Large French windows, top notch materials and modern linear design;

Doubles - Choice of Street View (Eislebener Strasse) or courtyard.
