To start things off, we’ll just say that the Villa Bebek was considered the best accommodation of the renowned Canburi and Caburizinhos beaches, as well as one of the beach hotels of the São Paulo coast, for nine years in a row by a major Brazilian magazine. We repeat - nine years in a row.
It must be doing something right, so what is the secret? One part is to do with the way the Betti family runs Villa Bebek as a proud family heritage looking to welcome guests; and not simply as a business. They are fully involved in every aspect of the place. From conceptualizing the project in 2003 to landscaping the beautiful gardens and the day to day human touches found throughout.
The 28 suites, quality restaurant and Spa are also beautifully built within those landscaped gardens we mentioned above.
It helps, of course, to be located in one of the most beautiful beaches in the São Paulo north coast, some 170 km from São Paulo city itself
The whole thing mixes typical village architecture with comfort. Indeed things here are deceptively simple. By that we mean it may look and feel natural - It is - but the facilities are also never ending. From the narrow, winding swimming pool that looks more like a river than anything else, to a high tech gym, volley ball nets and complementary beach transfers.
The ubiquitous palm trees, flora and shrubs throughout the whole estate just add to the “vida bonita” atmosphere and easygoing pace. The choice is yours, perhaps wiling away a day on the hammock listening to soothing Brazilian music, a swim in the “river”, more arduous gym work or a day on the beach. Perhaps you can do all these things.
We’ve already mentioned that the success of the Villa Bebek is in large part down to the owner’s ethic of putting customers first. That’s how it should be, of course, and here the staff is particularly courteous and obliging, so, if you want that cocktail in the pool, no problem.
