Discretion, taste and location If the Sydney House were a person, it would be the discreet, unassuming type, one that doesn’t like to show off, yet has all the reasons to do so. So as you look at the facade of this Georgian building, you may be forgiven for thinking it is a private dwelling – one of extremely good classical taste.
Come inside, however, and you have well manicured modernity and style. Rooms, for example, are simple and lovely to the last with large TVs and all those modern little gadgets that you can think of. Even the hairdryers are cool.
Being located where it is, also adds to the attraction. Right by South Kensington, so the world famous Harrods, Michelin Building, art galleries and museums are within a stone’s throw. Indeed, the roof terrace is the place to enjoy a fine tea whilst the views of some of the nicest parts of London spread out before you.
