Trend setting class in the heart of Soho.
The area of Soho is for many the heartbeat of London’s vibrant nightlife - sassy, colourful, creative and certainly stylish. Just like the hotel with the same name, really. After all, the 1930’s building that now houses the wonderful Soho hotel was, in a previous incarnation, a garage and look at it now.
Yet despite being effectively surrounded by some of London's most vibrant restaurants, bars, theatres and cafes it still an oasis of peace, located as it is in a quiet street off the heart of Soho. London as a city is particularly good at this, you can easily find a peaceful haven literally just by turning a corner and the Soho hotel is a prime example of this.
And just like the area, it combines modern, bold trends with the traditional to exciting effect. So, the large lobby blends wood, metal, glass and stone – 12 inch oak floorboards sit alongside metal framed windows and doors, pebble lined pillars and French fireplaces, whilst guarding the hotel's entrance is a spectacular 10 feet high bronze cat by Botero.
Two large drawing rooms for use by in-house guests, each furnished individually, a vibrant honesty bar and even its own private screening room (cinema to you and me) add up to one heck of a total package.
We almost forgot to mention the rooms. Let’s just say they retain the high quality, fabrics and decor of the general hotel. You won’t be disappointed.
