The Posada de Babel is a pleasant countryside hotel with a somewhat vanguard design and urban facade, where the traditional and modern go hand in hand.
The main building has large windows that let in lots of light and has comfortable views onto the gardens. Inside, there is a reading and games room as well as library, all decorated in an attractive manner that perhaps tends to the modern.
One of the outside units is the “horreo”, or corn crib that has been converted into sleeping quarters. Lovers of tranquillity will certainly enjoy the peace and romantic ambience it provides.
Fine beaches and the magnificent Picos de Europa are all within easy reach whilst other activities include biking, trekking, cycling and mountaineering, amongst others.

Relaxing hotel with good food.
Like it here so much will be visiting for the 4th time this year.
Very friendly and welcoming owners and lovely chef who cooks superb food.
The hotel is a haven of peace and quiet a few km from the centre of Llanes. No light pollution here and it's wonderful to gaze at the stars above the nearby hills
