The Borial is a welcome edition to Barcelona’s list of fine accommodations. Its excellent location is one of the reasons, being situated in the very heart of the city, right in the middle of the “El Born” and “Gothic” quarters.

Then there’s the beautiful 18th century building itself and the renovation work, which has created a most comfortable place to stay, with impressive Double superior room, Lofts, Junior Suites,Suites and a Grand Suite, decorated in a thoroughly modern manner.

Each may be unique in styling and personality but there’s one thing they all have in common – the areas are huge! Rooms are generally 70 square metres.

A rare gem

We discovered Hotel Boria through secret places. We live in Barcelona but since our wedding took place in the city, we were looking for a charming, romantic place to spend that special night. It needed to be in the Born area. We were delighted to have come across Hotel Boria! The rooms are impeccable, quaint yet spacious, state-of-the-art yet warm and comfortable. Only 18 rooms, ours was suite style, to ensure personalized touch. The service: outstanding. Attention to detail, even a chilled bottle of Cava and chocolates. It really exceeded our expectations. It is not your traditional, hectic hotel. It is not for the average tourist looking for the typical hotel, with impersonal facilities and boring restaurants. It's just a peaceful hideaway. A rare gem hidden in the narrow streets of the Barri Gotic. Hope it maintains its character. We are looking for an excuse to come back! Thank you.

Hotel was lovely

The hotel was lovely – if a little cold when we first arrived. The only thing is that the street can be quite noisy at night, however, we had a lovely time overall.

Wonderful stay

Thank you very much for the recommendation of the Hotel Boria. My husband and I had a wonder stay with them. Beautiful rooms (we thought it was strange to have 2 bedrooms, and not one bedroom and one sitting room?) with wonderful style. The staff was really nice and helpful too...which make a big difference with a hotel. Thanks again, it all went very well.
