This is the deal with the Cas Mallorqui. You get direct access to the beach, each room has a balcony with a fantastic view of said beach and the bays of Portinatx – not one, not two, but three! All nine rooms are built over the fishermen's houses, giving the distinctive arches.

Now, as the title of the Cas Mallorqui implies, this is not only a place to sleep, but also a place to eat! The sea food menu at the restaurant is supplied daily by two boats and you can eat outside on the terrace!

It really is great fun and considering the pretty affordable rate which, high season notwithstanding (July to August) is below 100€ per night, it also makes it a value for money accommodation. Of, course, you cannot expect luxury for such a price, though even so rooms have been recently renovated to a good standard of quality, come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and Wi-Fi access. And don’t forget the terraces.

What you can expect is an authentic Ibiza far removed from the discos, a true seaside location with excellent seafood and superb sunsets.
