Even when taking in itineraries of various accommodations, a number of people have said that a stay at the Mas des Deux Puits was the highlight of their trip.

The reasons are varied and all pretty simple. It’s got just about everything you need to enjoy a getaway break. Stunning panoramas of the Luberon hills, near Bonnieux, are part of it. The 18th century building itself, built in thick old stone walls giving off a kindly yellow in the sun, emanates serenity and beauty, what with the tower and courtyard adding an exotic touch. Of course, it then helps that it is surrounded by fields of oaks, lavender and fruit trees. The beautiful pool is a further invitation to the do nothing but just lounge around type of holiday. And that’s fine by us.

The Mas des Deus Puits really does justice to the tag of “secluded getaway”. All this would mean very little though if the owners were not welcoming. Fortunately Hèlene and Christian are equal to all the other elements that make this a special place. Friendly and helpful, their goal is to help you get the most of this beautiful place and region, so any guest would be wise to make the most of their local knowledge (they can provide you with a hamper, for example, and suggest the best places to enjoy a picnic). Hèlene and Christian found the Mas des Puits quite by chance and simply fell in love with the place. We’re pretty sure you will too.

Buis Suite Large bedroom with a small lounge and private entrance. Double bed and single bed available. Has a great view of Mont Ventoux and Roussillon.

Ventoux Large room with adjoining terrace. Again, comes with a view of Mont Ventoux and Roussillon valley.

Chêne Vert Smaller room with view over the valley.

Cerisiers Room with a view over the lavender fields and the Luberon valley.

Borie Room with a private entrance and view of Mont Ventoux and Roussillon valley.
