Château des Tesnières is a luxury bed & breakfast ten minutes away from the París–Rennes autoroute, right by the Brittany border. A wonderful Neorenacentist 19th century castle that the Count de Langle built on 17 acres of wooded park and that started as a totally renovated b&b in 2004.

Guest accommodations consist of one large bedroom and four luxury suites – all with great views of the Breton countryside that surrounds the castle – all have TV and impeccable bathrooms. The ground floor features an elegant Louis XVI sitting room, a library and the dining room. There is WiFi on the ground floor available for free. And, in a tower there is a cosy bar where you can get a drink any time of the day. Our charming hosts, John and Siebren Demandt Boon, can give us some advice on how to best enjoy our stay here, in English, French, German or Dutch.

Hearty breakfasts at the dining room and first class restaurants in the vicinity, including three with Michelin stars! Close by, the Rochers is an 18-hole, par 71, golf course around a beautiful castle.

And a walk around the park is a dream, with centenary cedars, shelter-offering oaks and ornamental pools with frogs, salamanders and water fowl. Our château is very close to the famous Mont Saint Michel and five minutes away from Torcé – a village that dates back to the 11th century, where we can visit the Ëglise St-Medard of the 15th. Château des Tesnières is an experience to be treasured for a long, long time.
