Now, if you have read our review of the Clos de Saint Saourde, you will know what we think of this utterly delightful accommodation, one that is literally set in stone as it was, in effect, painstakingly hewn out of the rock and the result, as we mentioned at the time can be summarised thus:

“It may as well have a “do not disturb” sign on the outside for everything is geared to providing an antidote to stress. The natural spring, the giant sycamore, the square courtyard, those stone walls we’ve mentioned, the surrounding vineyards and the exceptional view of the Dentelles de Montmirail all work together to seduce guests with its authenticity and serenity and little touches of magic.”

This 18th century accommodation also has a further trick up its sleeve – “La Grange” which is an independent house available for up to 8 people in 4 double bedrooms with its own private swimming pool, no less.

It is so pretty and independent from the main house that we thought it deserves a billing in its own right. From the terrace, majestic 360ª vistas also await you of the Dentelles de Montmitaille, Mont Ventoux and the Vaucluse plains.

It comes with all the character and charm of the main house, plus added privacy if you are a group or family looking to get away from it all, de-stress and enjoy the wonderful things the la Grange and the local area has to offer. As we mentioned in our review. “Perfection”.
