Provence has a magical pull and if you’re looking for beautiful countryside, great wine and gorgeous villages, the Le Mas de la Regalade could be for you.
This 17th century farm is located at the foot of Gordes, which is classified as one of the most beautiful villages of France so that immediately gives you an idea of the place (though that can have its downside too with more tourists in high season).
It’s a place to connect with nature and enjoy the simple things in life so even though the decor inside is just great, and picture postcard style, we bet much of your time will be spent outside in one of the many lovely external areas. They are an open invitation to take things easy.
Perhaps read a book by the pool, sip a cocktail under the tree or a take a simple siesta. And with only 4 bedrooms, most with their own entrance, the feeling is one of permanent intimacy and privacy.
This wouldn’t be Provence if food and wine were not an important staple of life everything you eat is delicious. Breakfast, for example, consists of different varieties of bread, jams and salads – all home made of course. In effect, this is a beautiful region, with much to see and do – or perhaps not.
Just lazing around in the Le Mas de la Regalade is another wonderful option.
