This is a great place to spend a few “knights” if you pardon the pun (It is called the Templers Hotel, after all).
And you certainly get a sense of rustic history here, for you are staying in an old merchant’s house in a beautiful village right in the very heart of a medieval town - and surrounded by the ramparts of Aigues Mortes.
But notwithstanding the history and beauty of the place, one of our abiding memories here is the friendliness of Les Templiers. The 14 rooms, 2 of which are suites, all have a varied contemporary decoration and some look out onto the patio with its refreshing fountain.
Yet as already mentioned, you’ll be bowled over by the welcome and hospitality.
