If Paris is many peoples idea of the perfect city, then the Hotel Thérèse could be the hotel with the perfect location.
Situated on the Right Bank in a quiet neighbourhood street, the immediate vicinity takes in the Louvre, Opera, Palais Royal and all the shops you could ask for – you will be sorely tempted!
But it’s just not location with the Hotel Thérèse. This 18th century townhouse recently underwent a complete revamp giving it a new lease of life and a fresh, sophisticated design.
It still retains the best of the past, such as the striking vaulted breakfast room, lobby, panelled library, marbled baths and original watercolours, but modern niceties are everywhere where classic and contemporary mix very nicely indeed.
Auto sensor lights in the hallway that switch on and off as need be, spotless bedrooms, which though not large are superbly comfortable, plus everything with a brand new feel - from flooring to wallpaper and fabrics.
It makes for a brilliant base from which to explore the city of light (excuse the pun).

Wonderful small hotel

I stayed at the Hotel Therese with my two daughters for a girls trip in August. We really enjoyed the hotel, and felt is was a great value for money. The concierge was very helpful in booking some tours and reservations ahead of the trip. We stayed in an executive room on the 5th floor. It had a king sized bed and a very nice twin sized cot that was set up for my daughter. The linens were very nice, high quality, and both beds were very comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful, and they made our stay very pleasant. They were very welcoming and willing to offer advice and recommendations. The neighborhood, while close to the Louvre, does not feel overly touristy. The hotel is in an area with many asian restaurants, which I assume Parisians from all over the city visit. That makes it feel very authentic. There are also a lot of bubble tea shops, which my daughters really liked. Rue Therese is off of a boulevard with many shops, bakeries, etc. The central location also made it nice to easily get to all of the main attractions. My only bit of feedback to the hotel is that we didn't love some of the restaurants that they recommended. For example the Bistrot Vivienne, where we ate on our final night, was very average and disappointing. Otherwise we really loved the hotel and found it to be a great value for the money!

We really enjoyed staying at the Hotel Therese. The location was great as we prefer to walk a lot on our city trips. The room was on the small side, but very comfortable and clean, and with a beautiful view of the inner court yard. I would stay there again!
