Veneto Exclusive Suites

Rethymno, is considered to be one of the prettiest and friendliest towns in Crete. And the natural attributes surrounding it are pretty impressive too. The mountains have been there since time immemorial and whilst the Veneto Suites history doesn't stretch that far, it still dates back to the 14th century - the oldest part of the building used to be cells for monks in a Dominican monastery. The newer part, if you can call it that, “only” dates back to the 15th century.

It is situated right in the heart of the Old Town, just a 3-minute walking distance from the commercial area, the museums, the beach and the numerous cafes, restaurants and nightclubs. Restored in 2008, the Veneto still retains the beautiful character of centuries gone by - six studios and four suites, ready to take you to the charm of yesterday and offer you the comforts of today.

Plus, there’s one further ace up the sleeve, its in-house restaurant is considered to be one of the best in Crete.

There is also a stone-built wine cellar with an impressive selection of Greek wines.
