Excellent value for money Positano hotel offering wonderful views of the bay.

“I loved it” seems to be a recurring theme of how guests describe a stay at the Villa Rosa. And why shouldn’t they? With fabulous views of Positano and the bay and a price tag that’s notably good value for such an expensive area, everything is in place for a pretty unique stay.

It’s just across the road from the luxurious (and more expensive) Sirenuse, but it shares the same awesome panoramas. Of course, being more of a budget hotel means rooms are not that large and the Villa Rosa, with the exception of the lobby, does not have public rooms as such. Hence, breakfast is taken in the rooms or terraces, but in our opinion, there’s something magical about taking your first meal of the day in your robes and looking out at what seems to be a little bit of heaven on earth. As for decoration inside, this century year old house still bears some of the original features and arched ceilings.

Rooms are no nonsense, simple but tasteful and all come with modern comforts such as air-conditioning, fridge, telephone and television, although there is no elevator. Our guess is though, that you’ll be spending much of your time on the terrace enjoying the views.
