Relais Grand Tour & Grand Tour Suites
Hotel Type: Bed & Breakfast
Environment: Historic Quarters
Number of Rooms: 6
Style: Historic
This is the sister accommodation of Mr. My Resort, also in Florence.
Both places share the same hospitality and welcome guests with open arms, but whereas Mr. My Resort is a Guest House accommodation mixing old and new, the B&B Relais Grand Tour and Grand Tour Suites is definitely in the "old-world" camp, and ideal for slow travellers, art lovers and romantic getaways.
The location is equally good, being just a 3 minute walk to the original David into the Academy Gallery, which makes it an excellent place from which to enjoy the city. Coming back to the Relais Grand Tour is a wonderful chance to relax and spend some time in the equipped flowered patio, reserved to the Suites all facing the quiet courtyard.
Still, even though it has a old world atmosphere, all rooms (doubles and suites) have the WIFI Internet access and a computer with high speed connection.
City attractions such as the Duomo and the Uffizi Gallery are also 10-15 minutes walk from this small gem located close to the San Lorenzo church and the best city Food Market where guests will discover local specialties and where most of the best places to eat are located. In this area is still possible to eat at reasonable prices and dine with locals!
The owners, Giuseppe and Cristina, live in the premises, so you can share with them your experience and ask questions upon arrival or even before arriving in Florence. They can help you pre-book visits to galleries and museums so you don’t have to waste time queuing (al this at no additional cost).
Double rooms:located at the 2nd floor, private bathroom with shower.
Suites:located at the patio level, private bathrooms with Jacuzzi or large shower box with vertical hydro massage.
Please note: as with the Mr. My, breakfast is not taken in-house but in the nearby café where you are provided a token for the effect. It’s a typical Italian affair, with excellent coffee, croissants and toast, and should set you in good stead for the day ahead.
A little bit more information on rooms:
La Cantante room has a great view of the gardens, and a bathroom with bathtub and shower.
La Ballerina and Il Musicista rooms overlook the street, which is not noisy as windows are all double-glazed and sound-proofed. Bathrooms are somewhat smaller than the others.

A single bed is available, for an extra person. Entrance is from the courtyard garden.
Diva Suite: suitable for two or persons. Large sunny room hosts some family portraits of ladies. One of them was a stage actress in the early 20th Century
