If first impressions count, and they most often do, then you'll fall head over heals in love with the Relais Villa Vittoria at first sight. It sits in a marvellous position overlooking the gentle banks of romantic Lake Como, for starters.

If ever there was a perfect place to “pop the question”, so to speak, this is it. It inspires romance, so no wonder, then, that over time it has enchanted poets, writers and sophisticated travellers alike.

The story of this ancient villa is actually pretty singular. During the second half of the nineteenth Century, its mulberry garden was used for raising silkworms in order to produce the precious silk used in creating the unique fabrics and accessories that have made the area in and around Como famous worldwide.

The villa was later used as a summer holiday resort by a noble Milanese family and now, having been completely renovated, it weaves a northern Italian spell by maintaining the charm of the past with the quality of the present.

Guests have several options at their disposal. There's a swimming pool, a large garden on the lake, a beauty spa, a bar and a wine-bar bistro, a spacious living room and a panoramic terrace where breakfast is served.

As for rooms and suites, they come in all shapes and sizes. Some with lake view others with terrace and yet others with balcony, where it is possible to have breakfast.

Spa

On the second lake-terrace there is the Wellness Corner in refined oriental decor to revitalize the body and restore the spirit. The main room has a large Jacuzzi that can hold 4 to 6 people, a chill-out area with the spectacular view of the lake, a chromo-therapeutic shower and a Turkish bath with a starry blue sky.

In the Massage Room it is possible to have several types of personalized treatments, rituals and massages accompanied by aroma and color therapy. Our Spa is small and intimate; it is suitable for groups of no more than 4 people and it is therefore advisable to reserve it.

The Spa is an offered service of the Relais, while treatments and massages are on payment and must be reserved for availability.

Restaurant

The "La Barrique" restaurant and wine bar is a typical lake wine cellar dug in the rock.

It has a warm and refined atmosphere where you can have a drink or dine enjoying a fine selection of wines accompanied by typical dishes of the area.
