The Tara Verde is a world of sensual colours. Even the rooms allude to this, so we get the Green, Bordeaux and Purple rooms (only three in all). Silver and gold plated doors and radiators are also the norm and it all makes this one of, if not the most, sensual and stylish bed and breakfasts in Milan.

It wears its design credentials and peaceful Zen vibe very much on its sleeve. There’s a statue of Buddha on the staircase to welcome you, for example, whilst the colour coordination and use of Indian and Middle-Eastern fabrics is spot on for such a design orientated place to stay. It’s also oh so quiet, making it hard to believe that we are in busy bustling Milan.

This can be partly explained by being located in a peaceful residential area just outside the epicenter of town, but having your own private garden helps too. No matter, getting there is easy by Metro.

In short, this place is enthused by Milan’s passion for design and style, but it also adds a welcoming nature to the mix thanks to Roberta’s friendly personality, who lives on the ground floor of the house. The one thing the Tara Verde is not is cold. Far from it!

They certainly don’t make bed and breakfasts like they used to. The dowdy in the Tara Verde’s case has been replaced with no end of style.

Please Note: The rates published are subject to change during trade fairs. We would also add that the quiet nature of the Tara Verde means that whilst children are welcomed here, this is perhaps not the most appropriate place for them.
