A refined hotel in the heart of Orbetello, Tuscany.

The cute little town of Orbetello rises up on a small peninsula and is surrounded by two lagoons. Its topography and location thus make any visit here an interesting proposition, and located bang in the historical centre is the Relais San Biagio from which to enjoy it. The San Biagio is somewhat different from the standard Orbetello accommodation in that it offers a refined environment, rather then the more basic fare generally on offer here.

Originally a manor house dating back to 1851, it has been restored by the Magnosi family with a view to faithfully recreating the ambience of a gentleman’s house. To make sure of this, many of the house’s original characteristics have been maintained, such the arched entry hall or the elevated ceilings with their elaborate frescoed borders, whilst the central stairway connecting the rooms upstairs was renovated to its former glory.

Rich decoration and furnishings throughout the bedrooms add the finishing touches to a cultured stay at Relais San Biagio. For those wishing to venture out of Orbetello, Monte Argentario is a much sought after location and the Grosseto countryside is full of castles, watch towers and manor houses to explore.
