The Locanda Ilune likes to say that “Another World is possible” and how true this is, for it seems to be one of those places on another planet – a perfect one.

Perfect hosts, perfect house and perfect location to boot. The beautiful small inn was actually rebuilt and renovated by Susanna and Jonny and, thankfully, they are artists of some talent. For example, there are only three rooms, but just look at the way they are decorated, candles, oil lamps, etc. wood beamed ceilings, a good dose of forged iron. You just can’t get any more romantic than this.

Then there’s the hall with chimney, again very cosy, where you can read, play a game of chess, or if you’re feeling technological, even access the Internet. A small covered terrace, accesses a small flower garden which is beautiful any time of year, though in the warmer months it’s perfect for a barbecue, or even a game of badminton which is available here.

The kitchen - reserved for guests - offers local specialties with products of its own orchard and home made jams for breakfast – simply delicious – and you can get rid of any extra calories by making the most of the bicycles available at the Locanda Ilune to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Horse riding is also available nearby. All in all, this is an authentic paradise in the heart of Italy.

Nuestra experiencia en el Locanda Ilune fue fabulosa

Nuestra experiencia en el Locanda Ilune fue fabulosa. Se trata de una casa rural muy bien rehabilitada y con un interiorismo cuidado y personal. Los dueños de la casa le ponen muchísimo cariño y, aparte de un trato exquisito, sirven unos desayunos y unas cenas impresionantes. Por otra parte, el entorno natural de la casa es muy bonito y el patrimonio cultural abundante, como en toda Italia. Recomiendo este lugar en especial para quien quiera vivir un poco de verdadera Italia, alejado de los tópicos turísticos y de los lugares despersonalizados.
