Relais Sant'Elena
Hotel Type: Bed & Breakfast
Environment: Countryside
Number of Rooms: 15
Style: Stylish
The area surrounding the Relais Sant Elena is one of those special places – ancient Tuscany with its soft rolling hills and great panoramas, turquoise blue waters of the “Etruscan Coast”, monuments, villages, great cuisine. In short, it has everything for a memorable stay.
Does the Relais Sant Elena do the justice area? Totally, for this stone wall residence is imbued with its history and character. The Sant Elena is part of a 580 acre estate which produces very high quality olive oil. Very close to the world renowned Bolgheri area, it is an elegant place that manages to retain a rustic charm, with its warm earthy colours and stone walls, but which is, nonetheless, undeniably luxurious.
Inside, its fifteen rooms are pleasantly furnished with the real thing – period antique pieces and fabrics, whilst not forgetting that modern discerning customers also need up to date mod cons. As befits a 580 acre estate, the grounds with their Mediterranean vegetation are just as spectacular. They even have a holistic corner where guests can enjoy wellness treatments.
The coast is also only some ten minutes away, so luxury and nature (be it land or sea) pretty well go hand in hand.
