Riad des Arts
Hotel Type: Riad / Dar
Environment: City
Number of Rooms: 5
Style: Elegant
The historical Riad des Arts is truly a place of elegance with all the trappings of an authentic Medina town house. The contrast with the outside world couldn’t be greater as the bubbling energy and noise of the Medina is totally shut out once you step through the doors of the Riad des Arts. Even the light here seems to have a kindly glow and given the cultured ambience on offer, you will surmise that the name of this charming riad is an appropriate one – a cultured place made to measure for the discerning traveler.
So, with decorative elements taking in sculptured wood, wrought iron tapestries and a palm tree lined courtyard the scene is set for that special stay. This is most certainly the case if you visit the terrace, which was designed in such a way as to make the most of the wonderful views of the Medina and beyond. There’s nothing like taking a mint tea under the starry night of Marrakech and the terrace even boasts a truly romantic four poster bed underneath. It’s all so romantic, especially for newly weds or love struck couples.
It should also come as no surprise that all four rooms continue with this vein – individualistic but romantic, comfortable and classy. It doesn’t matter which one you choose, the use of noble materials such as marble and “tadelakt” make for an extremely pleasant night’s sleep.
