This really is getting away from it all – an oasis, literally, of style, classy accommodation and wonderful palm groves, where just about every exotic plant you can think of can be found, in the middle of the wonderful garden (sunflowers, pomegranates, olive trees, almond trees, apricot trees, fig trees to name just a few). It's not called “Jardins” - gardens in French - for nothing.

Oh and by the way, the views of the Atlas Mountains in the background are just superb. Add to this 8 very stylish rooms some 36 km from Ouazarzate and you have a perfect stepping stone between Marrakech and the dunes of the Sahara.

And who do we have to thank for this? Caroline, who used here French sensibilities and artistic flair to restore the old mill that is now known as the Jardins de Skoura.

Thick walls also keep the rooms cool in summer and in the suites fireplaces make for cosy winter evenings. And the massive garden has a collection of olive and fruit trees offering shade from the hot Moroccan sun and an inviting pool. It all makes for perfect relaxation which can be further developed with a massage (arranged on reservation).

Guests should therefore be in the right frame of mind when they use the Jardins de Skoura as the staring point discover this secret and harmonious area with the traditions.

Important Note: For stays of 4 consecutive nights Les Jardins de Skoura offers a 20% discount on published rates. By the same token however, dinner for each of the 4 or more nights is compulsory at 19€ per person.
