Nothing that's not authentic, just a simple and warm riad with a friendly service in an genuine environment. A great base for anyone wishing to explore the interesting region of Rabat.
It's easy to be charmed by the Dar Mayssane. After the bustle of the Medinna tranquility awaits behind its doors. Tranquility Motocco style, whjat with the wod carvings, Zellij frescoes, stone columns and that certain oriental charms.
As with any Riad worthy of the name all rooms are individually decorated. Some are more contemporary, others cosy and the superior rooms emanate no little amount of style.

In short, the Riad Dar Mayssane provides a simple but warm ambiance. Guests can also make the most of many beauty treatments available such as ex-foliating scrubs, manicurist, massages and baths in petals of roses.

Majestic monuments
Rabat, sober and gracious, serene. Hassan tower, all power, stands out against the sky, overlooking a plaza and marble pillars, remains of a mosque in the twelfth century designed for the entire army of the sovereign Yakub Al-Mansour to raise it. On this same plaza, the mausoleum of Mohammed V is a real palace.
A city of contrasts
South of the city, the gardens of Méchouar offer a walk near the royal palace. Go back to the city center and take time to visit the archaeological museum. Also in the center, Mohammed V Avenue is lined with Art Deco buildings. This part of the city, with its large sets, wide avenues and green spaces, borders seamlessly the old medina.
Festivals galore
Rabat, throughout the year is punctuated by meetings and festivals , reflecting a great cultural vitality. In May, the music is featured during the festival Mawazine world music. The International Festival of Cinema Author takes place in June and November, up again at the music festival with the plucked strings.
A walk out of time
Beyond the city walls, other walls conceal a charming place: the fertile valley planted with fig trees, palms and olive trees was chosen by the dynasty of the thirteenth century Merinids to house their final resting . Walk among the graves in the shadow of the ruins of a sanctuary whose minaret is a refuge for storks. A little further on, other ruins of an even more distant past: that of the Roman Sala.
Rabat offers a relaxed lifestyle for walkers and lovers of romantic cultural visits and festivities.
