Sublime Comporta Country Retreat & Restaurant

As its name suggests, the Sublime Comporta Country Retreat & Restaurant is not only a luxury boutique hotel, but also an excellent restaurant. Located within the vast pine forests just a bit south of the town of Carvalhal, the Sublime Comporta offers 14 rooms, 5 of which are in the main building. All are large and built with a passion for detail using only the best materials. The large and comfortable rooms are decorated with Italian furniture of the highest quality and are kept mostly in white, which together with the luminosity of this fabulous region creates the perfect atmosphere for absolute relaxation.

This special place will make even the most active sit down in lotus position and meditate. For this reason we believe that it is also not the ideal location for small children.

The Sublime Comporta also boasts a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, as well as an indoor pool and spa. The plentiful breakfasts are served with local organic produce and homemade pastries and breads. The restaurant offers elaborate dishes made with the freshest local ingredients and an excellent selection of wines.

The hotel is located 5 km south of Carvalhal and 16 km south of Comporta. The nearest beaches are about 5 km away. To get to know all the fantastic beaches around the hotel and to be able to discover the area, we strongly suggest to travel there by car. The beaches, protected from any construction by the shore, are some of the most beautiful in Portugal, with golden sand and turquoise water. Even if some of them might get a bit full in August, you will only have to walk a few meters along the 50 km long shore to be in perfect solitude again.
