Amazing place

Aldeia da Fonte is an amazing place, and the best option for a stay in Pico if you are not very worried about the money. The hotel is quite luxurious, you will find a library a shop and an unforgettable sounds of birds - cagarros - by the end of the night. When you wake up - Pico Vulcano will probably be visible. If you stay in Aldeia da Fonte in 2 m you will reach Lajes do Pico, and you must absolutely experience the whale watching.

The Hocus Pocus Restaurant has been acquiring an identity of its own apart of that of Aldeia da Fonte, by welcoming external clients and giving our guests of all nationalities an opportunity to mingle with the locals.

Its exquisite and creative cuisine, mastered by quality of service, has earned Hocus Pocus the reputation of the best restaurant on the Island.

In an atmosphere of charm and sober elegance, we invite you to relish on rich regional flavours, delicacies from other continents – such as our so appreciated Chinese food – or to discover the new meaning we give to vegetarian options.

You will also find exclusive creations of Hocus Pocus, to which we have added the touch of uniqueness that is characteristic of Aldeia da Fonte – such as our tasty 'Tiles' (Telhas), served in imaginative ceramic replicas of the old whaling boats, especially handicraft for us by the local potter.

Hocus Pocus is a non smoking area; customers who wish to smoke may chose to have their meal served in the attached “Bar da Font”e, with the same quality of service.

New daily options are presented apart from the regular menu.

During spring and summer, you will find the esplanade service a very tempting option.

A true apartment with complete privacy, as the front door leads directly outside, with no ‘neighbours’ on the same level.
This is only possible because there are no corridors in the hotel, which is composed by 6 separate buildings along an extense garden area, structure which gives it the village-like atmosphere.
The bedroom has two twin beds, which at request can be put together and transformed into a double bed. The nuptial suite has a double bed of a traditional Portuguese model.
In the living room there is a fold out couch that can accommodate an adult or 2 children up to 7 years old (extra bed).

2-Personen-Studio

Integrate a mini-kitchenette (fridge, sink and electrical tea pot) for the preparation of snacks; it does not have conditions for the preparation of warm meals. It also has a small living area with two armchairs.

The two twin beds can be put together at request, becoming a comfortable double bed.

The access to these accomodations is made through a hall door, common to another accomodation, that leads directly to the outside. Such happens because the hotel is structured in 6 villa-like buildings, separate by garden areas, giving it the atmosphere of a little village.

Studios are an excellent option for those who wish to share a common entrance with relatives or friends and still maintain utter privacy.
