What should one expect from a stay at the La Botica de Vejer?

It boils down to three things really – a great welcome, comfort and incredible views, which all in all add up to a fantastic stay.

Paloma, Enrique and Josip, three close friends who built up the La Botica are clearly in love with their little project and Vejer itself.

It shows in their enthusiasm and guests will no doubt be enthused by them too. Located within the battlements of the old town, La Botica was actually once the only apothecary in Vejer and as a homage to its past all rooms are named after old pharmacists schools.

The soothing effects of its previous life still seem to be there. Rooms are comfortable and a number of people have said that the beds were some of the most comfortable they have ever slept in.

Now we’ve already hinted at the views and even if not all the rooms offer those dazzling vistas, rest assured that the sun terrace makes up for it. Decked out with chairs and tables it is an ideal place to take in the countryside of Andalusia as it should be - expansive, calm and utterly delightful.

In fact, la Botica is an excellent proposition to explore and make the most of this area.

On top of Vejer itself, fine beaches and Natural Parks are within an earshot of this equally delightful place to stay.
