The common denominator of all Room Mate hotels is a hip, modern feel, one where value for money and style go hand in hand. The Room Mate Lola fits perfectly into this philosophy, but it is no duplicate/clone. It has its own unique personality. Inaugurated in August 2006, it was decorated by the interior designer Lorenzo Castillo and very much based on the US East Coast summer resorts, using flat and less conventional colours such as turquoise, emerald green, and porpoise, in addition to white, black and silver.
The sort of colours, in fact, that Picasso might have used in a painting, and by a happy coincidence, the Picasso museum is just nearby, in the very heart of downtown Malaga. The great man would surely have approved of the Lola’s vibrant modernity and clever mix with selected antique pieces. All of its 50 rooms are furnished with mirrors and highly decorative elements and, of course all the latest technological gadgets such as WIFI Internet connections (free) and Flat screen TV. The innovative concept of service, stylish modern design and reasonable prices lives on in the Room Mate Lola.
Plus there's another advantage - the great location. The Room Mate Lola is situated right in the middle of the commercial centre of town, next to the port and historic centre of town, only minutes from the Picasso Museum.
