Seville is a spectacular city and the recently opened Casa Romana is a spectacular boutique hotel from which to experience it.
Firstly, it’s only a stone’s throw away from the Giralda and Santa Cruz quarters so top marks for location. Secondly, the Casa Romana provides a happy blend of relaxed atmosphere.
Thirdly, the light touch of the decoration and furnishings and the end result is a fine hotel indeed where excellent service is not a premium but standard. Some of the touches are certainly exquisite with a nod to luxury and elegance. Even the modern wing manages to have a class not often found in annexes, a room’s even fall onto the patio, whilst the old wing has elegant furnishings, high ceilings and looks out onto the street.
Whatever the room (there are 26 in all) each one is light, warm and civilized. Marble bathrooms and a host of other little goodies, including wi-fi access, air conditioning in rooms, and an excellent restaurant and even a rooftop jacuzzi are further reasons to enjoy a civilized stay at the Casa Romana.
