Las Casas de la Judería
Hotel Type: Hotel
Environment: City
Number of Rooms: 118
Style: Classic
Las Casas de La Juderia has expanded over the years to now include a fine collection of houses in the charming Jewish Santa Cruz Quarter of Seville. They originally belonged to the Duke of Bejar and as a result feel like a small community in itself.
The patios, fountains, tiles and balconies with hanging potted plants, all provide a truly romantic and typically Seville backdrop. This is the old city as it must have been in its heyday with the aroma of orange trees and the sound of water running off the fountains. Many of the rooms are reached by way of lovely arched pathways and elaborate patios, whilst others have their own balconies.
Parking in the area is not easy, though being so centrally positioned all the famous sites of this majestic and exciting city are within walking distance. An historical footnote is that Las Casas were the first houses to take in the American Indians when Colon returned from the New World.
