The five cute cottages cater to two or three persons, and if you want proof of their style, let’s just say they have been awarded the “Excelecia Turistica 2009” (Excellence in Tourism by the Regional Society for Tourism of Asturias). El Bosque de las Viñas is actually situated within the Historic Park of Navia, and there are numerous places of interest nearby: the mountains and beaches of western Asturias, small villages and hamlets. Those of you looking for a little bit more of action can take up mountain hiking or cycling.

It is also near the Oscos Mountains, which have been declared World Biosphere Reserve, and if you travel along the Sierra de la Bobia road, you will find the village of Taramundi.

So all in all this peaceful set of lodgings also provide a pretty big punch in things to do and see. Of course, Asturias is also famed for its cuisine and there is no end of great restaurants to enjoy.
