The region of Entrecabos is considered to have one of the best preserved coastlines in the whole of Spain and the climate is somewhat more benign than in the rest of Asturias.
Within this beautiful enclave, and only some 200 metres from the sea, can be found the Torre de Villamoros, an 18th century country house situated by the side of a medieval tower. The beautiful fishing villages of Cudillero and Luarca and spectacular scenery some of which has been declared natural monuments are only some ten minutes away.
Open space is certainly a feature of Villamoros, one of the house’s most charming corners, for example, is the terrace from which pans out a glorious vista that takes in the countryside and sea. It is a great place in which to contemplate, perhaps read a book or simply relax. The house itself carries on attractive vein. The living room with its open fireplace is a welcoming sight to guests on cold nights and rooms notable for their warm earthy colours - the sloping wood beamed ceilings and little windows by the beds a particularly nice touch.
There is no lacking in comfort here, yet architecture still retains a traditional touch. Villademoros is a truly welcoming place.
