Casa Pacios
Hotel Type: Country Hotel
Environment: Countryside
Number of Rooms: 5
Style: Rustic
Casa Pacios is a romantic and isolated 15th century country house surrounded, as it is, by chestnut and oak woods at the foot of a valley. It is also close by to the “French Route” on the way to Santiago.
The layout of the house is interesting, with an inner courtyard surrounded by buildings that in a previous life were connected to agricultural activities, but which now have been rehabilitated as apartments or rooms. The hayloft, for example, is now a 90 square metre living room and the dining room was previously the kitchen, and which still conserves the oven that baked the bread.
Other rooms have a wooden corridor going out onto the principal front, which is characterised by an austerity and small windows typical of the mountain areas.
