The Hotel Room Mate Mario was established with a brief to provide an innovative concept of hotel service in Madrid, encompassing great location, stylish modern design and simple rooms at reasonably priced rates.

Firstly, it is located right in the heart of the historic, gastronomic, cultural and leisure centre of the city - within walking distance of many of the city’s major landmarks, such as the Opera Theatre, Royal Palace, Gran Via, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the golden triangle of museums, Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen are also all nearby.

Secondly, the hotel is liberally decorated with Philip Starck fittings and furniture, which help imbue it with a trendy, boutique feel.

Thirdly, though rooms are not large, all are clean and simple offering all the facilities expected by the experienced traveller. There are few reasonably priced Madrid hotels that can boast all this.
