Sa Pedrissa
Hotel Type: Boutique Hotel
Environment: Seaside (ocean front)
Number of Rooms: 9
Style: Unpretentious
Located between the sea and the mountains, the views Sa Pedrissa affords of the Tramuntana Mountains and beyond are simply awe inspiring.
The views are an integral part of the Sa Pedrissa experience. Indeed this 17th century farmhouse and olive mill at one point belonged to the Archduke Louis Salvador of Austria, who used it as a look out post. Great choice for that!
All in all there are nine rooms to choose from and each has fabulous vistas of the sea and decorated in what we’d term a luxurious rustic Mallorcan style. Not too much, not too little, just about right.
Every room is beautifully done up but the daddies of them all must be the Tower Suite which occupies two floors and the Sea and Mountain Suite, an apartment with its own ample private terrace.
One of the many high points here is the breakfast. Basically, you take it on the terrace, weather permitting, and it consists of all sorts of fresh juices yogurts, jams and breads. A great start to the day. Come to think of it restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine based on fresh ingredientsis also impressive too.
Sa Pedrissa is of those places that is hard to leave given everything that is on offer, but if decide to venture out, then 20 minutes on foot will take you to the rock-strewn bay of Calle Deià.
Soller itself is also very much worth a visit, an old town made up of picturesque narrow winding streets and a pretty impressive lineup of tapas bar, cafés and restaurants.

Trekking
Mallorca and the Tramuntana mountains in particular are internationally renowned for their countless hiking trails. Some paths and roads date back to before the Islamic period, in the 10th century.
The Sa Pedrissa will be happy to help you discover “the other Mallorca” and all the details these trails have to offer, such as fountains, shelters, irrigation canals, roads and chapels, to name a few.
Remember that in Mallorca, the mountain is good all year round – except in summer. Wearing proper shoes, breathable cloting and taking along plenty of water is always recommended.
