Annie and Martin look forward to welcoming you to Finca Son Jorbo, a small hotel in a typical 17th century Mallorcan house that has been restored and divided into apartments – all with a sitting room, ensuite bathroom, kitchen and a private terrace. You can have them with one or two bedrooms and all have air conditioning, satellite TV and a CD player. Outside there is an inviting swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols, surrounded by lush vegetation and a view of the nearby village of Porreres with the mountains as a backdrop.

Its central position on the island means that Finca Son Jorbo is in an ideal position to explore the many delights of Mallorca. It has easy access to the south-east coast where many of the best beaches are to be found including the well known beach at Es Trenc.

There are numerous ports and marinas including Cala Figuera, Porto Petro and Cala D’Or where you can take a coffee while watching the local fishing boats or dream of owning a multi-million pound yacht. The island’s capital, Palma has something for everyone with its bustling streets, great shops, restaurants, galleries and museums.

Every town has a weekly market and fiestas take place across the island throughout the year. If you feel energetic you can discover what else the island has to offer including walking, horse riding, bird watching and golf. There are also have a couple of bikes that you can borrow.

Alternatively, relax by the pool and help yourself to the “honesty bar”. Please note: Due to the rural location of Finca Son Jorbo you will need to hire a car from the airport. Food: Continental breakfast is served on the terrace in the summer and indoors on cooler days. There are freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, pastries and breads with home made jams and marmalade, fresh fruit salads and cheeses. If you want to do your own shopping, there are markets in the local towns, or you may want us to provision your apartment for your arrival.

Make use of your well-equipped kitchen, use the barbecue or take a short drive to a local restaurant. The choice is yours. And if you want to make a picnic to take to the beach, you can borrow a picnic knapsack and coolbox.
