Hotel Constanza

Seriously trendy and well located! Who says style and economy don’t go together? The recently opened Hotel Constanza certainly doesn’t think so, for here you have a seriously trendy hotel whose price tag is not comically high. It’s a cool sort of place, mixing staple western sensibilities such as dark wood and leather with oriental style partitions in certain places. But it’s not just about style, there’s plenty of substance here too. Rooms are well endowed and utterly comfortable, and include extras such as Internet connection, whilst bathrooms are also pretty cool, comfortable and well endowed.

Staff are also unobtrusive and friendly reminding you that despite all the design this remains a family run hotel and the ensuing hospitality that this brings. Finally there’s the location: being in a quiet part of the Eixample quarter, the Constanza is nearby to the Placa de Catalunya and the Ramblas, without the disadvantage of any noise. All in all a trendy place to stay and one that confirms Barcelona’s reputation for avant-garde design is still very much alive.
