Pietrasanta has become a reference point for contemporary art aficionados.
In July and august, the Versiliana Festival takes place in the Villa and its surrounding park. In the afternoon, cultural meetings at the caffé directed by Romano Battaglia with renowned names of show-business, sports, journalism, science and politics. At night, attention is concentrated on the Theatre (an outdoor structure that can hold 1500 seats).
The Puccini Festival takes place between July and August at the open air theatre in Torre del Lago beside the Villa Puccini.
All the year round you can admire the beautiful 17th century Palazzo, in the historic centre of town, near the cathedral and the Medieval square. There is a unique collection of contemporary art which offers a significant insight into the development of Italian art from the mid 1900s until today.
Visit the towns of Pisa, Lucca and le Ville Lucchesi.
Pietrasanta is also known as the gastronomic capital of typical Tuscan cuisine.

On the highway A12 Genova - Livorno exit at Versilia and follow the signs for Pietrasanta.
You will come to a large round-a-bout where you turn left and follow Viale Apua to the end.
Turn right, onto Via Aurelia, and then take first left and drive to the end of the street.
At the traffic lights, turn left end then turn right into narrow street called Vicolo Lavatoi.
Continue straight across crossroad and enter into pedestrian zone (as a guest of the Hotel you may drive into this zone).
The hotel Albergo Pietrasanta will be on your right.
