A little gem of a hotel located in the heart of a little gem of a town – Lucca
Lucca is without doubt one of the most beautiful cities in the whole of Italy, with the added bonus of not having been as ravaged by the onslaught of mass tourism as some of the other towns in northern Italy. Hence visitors can make the most of its markets, churches, squares and all round beauty in a relatively easygoing fashion. Travelling as it was meant to be. It also good to know that Lucca has some hotels that do it justice. One of these is the La Corte Degli Angeli, which is located within the walls of Lucca and, as the hotel itself says, can be considered a little jewel box. Intimate, yet spacious and full of charm. It all makes for a delightful place to stay, one where comforts just as Jacuzzis, elevators to the upper floor rooms and lively bright decoration go hand in hand with suggestive vistas of the town, which we cannot stress enough is such a beautiful place to visit. Chances are you won’t be staying in your rooms that much as there is so much to do and see, but the parquet floors, floral motifs and hand painted tiles will match the atmosphere of everything else in this lovely town. A little gem.

The Maison de Charme Alla Corte delgi Angeli is located in the heart of the ancient town of Lucca, inside the town-walls. Near the Piazza Anfiteatro and short distance from the most important buildings and historical churches. It is very easy to reach , either by train or by car (about 1000 mt from the rail station and about 1500mt from the highway Firenze-mare).
Follow the indications for 'City centre' driving around the town walls until Porta Santa Maria. When you are inside Porta Santa Maria, turn right in Via della Cavallerizza until the tower of S. Fradiano Church, turn left in Via Cesare Battisti, after the traffic light turn left in the first street, Via degli Angeli n°23 where we are situated.
