Peaceful and charming Ibiza 1, nightclub highlife 0. The Agroturismo Can Lluc, a recently renovated estate in the heart of rural Ibiza is a perfect example of an idyllic place that preserves the spirit of the Mediterranean. Firstly it is located in a wonderful, quiet valley and surrounded by ancient pine, almond and olive trees. Views from the estate are beautiful and make even a dip in the swimming pool something special. Secondly, traditional materials have been used throughout as a mainstay of the house, including wooden roofs and stonewalls (which with their uneven relief are a particular delight), yet these combine well with the modern-day feel of much of the furniture and furnishings to provide, what the Can Lluc itself calls, a harmonious mix of ancient traditions and the contemporary. We couldn’t agree more. Rooms, which are well decorated and equipped to the last detail, are on the smallish side as, indeed are the windows. The latter were in fact designed this way to keep out the summer heat. All however, come with excellent bathrooms (some come with Jacuzzis and others with water massage jets), air conditions and more than enough mod cons. In the unlikely event of visitors wishing to take themselves away from this idyll, then the town of Ibiza is only 10km away. Fine beaches are also to be found at Salinas, some 19 km off

ll	Tips & Getting There

Take the road from Ibiza to San Antonio untill you reach the village of San Rafael. In San Rafael follow the detour to Santa Agnès de Corona; after approx. 2 km you will see a asphalt road to your right hand side and next to it a signpost for the Finca Can Lluc. Follow the signposted directions to the hotel.
