Originally a late 17th century baroque building, Casa Gloria was rebuilt in 1990 after a fire. Much of the original detail was maintained whilst modern up to date comforts were added. All bedrooms have a private bathroom. The house itself is located near to the beach area and fishing, horseback riding and golfing at Batalha Golf course are all quite close at hand.

City gates, constructed in the form of three arches during the 18th century.
-Matriz de São Sebastião, São Pedro and São João are three imposing churches, authentic pieces of art from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries.
-Sant'Ana Palace (19th century)
-Convento de São André, presently functions as the Carlos Machado Museum.

Hi, I just wanted to say thanks for the connection to Casa do Carme in Sao Miguel, Azores. The house is incredibly beautiful and very well located for a great holiday. The bonus was that Igor and Anna are fantastic hosts and served a wonderful breakfast every morning and they were invaluable guides! Thanks to Igor we really enjoyed exploring Sao Miguel and found places that we otherwise would not have discovered on our own.
Both the house and Igor and Anna are to be highly recommended to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday.
