| The easiest way to get to the hotel Casona Palacio Camino Real would be through Madrid leaving Lisbon on the A6 taking you to Spain. Once there take the Nacional V (NV) heading for Madrid, once there follow the Nacional I (NI) heading for Burgos and once there, please take the following directions: Aguilar del Campo – Reinosa – Torrelavega – Cabezón de la Sal; on the cross road at Cabezón de la Sal, take the road leading you to Cabuérniga/Reinosa, once on that road you will find the Casona Camino Real approx. 13 km ahead on your right handside. |

“My husband and I stayed in this hotel… and it was one of our most beautiful and relaxing vacations. The hotel itself is breathtaking and beautifully designed with very much attention to detail. The hotel was always clean and our room was cleaned daily. Staff was amazing and very polite. May was the perfect time to go there because it was low season and we basically had the hotel for ourselves. Only on the weekend other guests were around and that is when you hear that the building is very old, because the wooden floor tracked the noise. The restaurant was not at all our taste (too fancy) but we just went out for dinner. The hotel is close to the beach (20 minute drive) or the mountains; also Santander has a nice shopping mall. And a lot of historic and picturesque little towns close by. All in all, the perfect holiday.” NB, UK
