Jardín Botánico de Cap Roig
(Cap Roig botanical garden)
The garden is located south of Calella in the area known as El Golfet. A spacious area with large terraces from which to admire all types of mediterranean vegetation of lovely colours. It provides a magnificent view of the coast, which goes from Calella to the cliffs of Cap Roig.
Llofriu Village.
A few kilometres from the sea, there is a pleasant walk to the old nucleus of Llofriu. The houses, protected around the church form na interesting group of popular architecture between the 17th and 19th centuries. The tracing of its streets is medieval in origin, as is the decoration of the gate of the church, which is dedicated to \"Saint Fruitós\".
Empúries Ruins.
Old Greek and Roman settlement. Great to wander through the streets with the old models of houses, temples and markets.

PALAFRUGELL
Iglesia Parroquial de Sant Martí.

The aisle and side areas are late gothic in style 16th centuries; the façade, unfinished belfry and a part of the building date to the barroque era (17th-18th centuries).
Museo del Corcho.
(Cork Museum)
The Cork museum was inaugurated in 1991 as the cork section of the National Museum of Science & Technology of Catalonia, the only onen dedicated to this subject in the whole of Spain.

From Barcelona airport:
Hotel El Far is only 138 km from Barcelona, approximately an hour and a half. Practically the entire route can be done on the AP-7 motorway (Accessed through the Ronda de Dalt). Leave the motorway at exit 9 to Palamós, continue on road C-35 to Palafrugell. Take the road to Llafranc and when you arrive at the beach of Llafranc, take the road to El Far de Sant Sebastià.
By car, from France:
From Jonquera, you can take the AP-7 motorway and leave at exit 6, to Bisbal. Once you have left motorway, continue on road C-66A and then on C-31 to Palafrugell. Take the road to Llafranc and when you arrive at the beach of Llafranc take the road to El Far de Sant Sebastià.
