An impressive 18th century building, the Hotel Nogal lies on the slope of the Teide Mountain with a fantastic view over the southern coast of Tenerife. The architecture is typically Canarian and all the characteristics of the original building have been preserved. The house itself is made of stone, painted in warm colours, with traditional wooden ceilings and floors. The interior courtyard even comes with its own fountain. El Nogal also has a pretty garden replete with vegetation, plus a swimming pool. There is a certain lack of charming hotels in Tenerife, but the Hotel El Nogal certainly qualifies as one. It is also close by to los Cristianos where you will find beautiful beaches.

Exit Reina Sofia airport to Los Cristianos, Arona road.
After 10 Km. approximately, you can find "the exit" ARONA – PARQUE NACIONAL DEL TEIDE (Carretera Nacional 51) on the right.
After the village CHAYOFA turn left at the next crossroad (direction: ARONA- VILAFLOR (Nacional 51)).
Before arriving at ARONA turn left (direction: VILAFLOR – PARQUE NACIONAL DEL TEIDE (N.51))
This Way leads to LA ESCALONA. It is the next Village . When you arrive and see the name of the Village on a wall, turn right after the crossroad JAMA – SAN MIGUEL. It is a steep little street CAMINO REAL ; after 200 m. you can see the El Nogal Hotel on the left.
