A hotel where flair and imagination is the order of the day and each room offers a theme connected to Andalusian history and romance. Hence we have rooms such as the “Philosophers Study” with its illuminated floor panel and secret escape hatch to flee the clutches of the inquisition: the “Alchemists Laboratory” with twin beds incrusted with semi-precious stones and décor detailing the elderly expert’s wisdom: the Christopher Columbus Berth with its maps, trunks, helmets and seafaring equipment. Other rooms and themes include the Catholic Kings Quarters, the Sultan’s Chamber, the Astronomers observatory, amongst others. Though all rooms have modern amenities, such as IDD phone lines and Internet access, they are well incorporated and do not take away anything from the thematic ambience - TV’s, for example, are concealed from view. All in all, a ‘boutique’ hotel that is all the more colourful for its bold imagination. It is also worth noting that Amanhavis has a fine restaurant offering excellent cuisine based on fresh produce.

ll	Tips & Getting There

As you leave the airport take direction of Algeciras or Cadiz on the N340 road or the Highway (faster), which you will find within the first two minutes of leaving the airport. Stay on this National Route 340 or the Highway for about 70 km, passing by Marbella, Puerto Banus and San Pedro de Alcantara (if you took the highway, exit here). Shortly after you pass through San Pedro (about 2 km) you will find on your right side the exit to BENAHAVIS. This will lead you through a beautiful valley northwards. Arriving into the village, follow the main street until the end, go down the hill and you will see a beautiful reddish building on your left side. You have found the Amanhavis. Stop in front to unpack and then park a few meters further down the road.
