Stunningly located hotel in Camogli
Dramatically perched along the seaside with accordingly spectacular views of paradise gulf (the reason for the title will become obvious when you get there), the location of the Cenobio dei Dogi really is striking, making a seaside room here an essential requirement. It really is worth it. The Cenobio dei Dogi is not a small hotel, there being 106 rooms in all, and overall decoration is rather traditional in an Italian way. However, despite this relatively plain atmosphere inside, the exterior is a different matter. The seawater swimming pool, for example, is really superb as are the views it affords. The restaurant also makes the most of the splendid panoramas, and the food’s not bad too. There is also a small private beach to enjoy, though it is rather on the tiny side and has no sand, like many of the beaches in this area. Guests will be walking on large peddles and so making sandcastles is not an option. All can be forgiven, though, for those wonderful views.

| By Car: From the A12 highway get off at “RECCO”. Upon arriving in Recco follow the directions for CAMOGLI. You will see a sign that says ”Camogli 2”; this means you are just 2 kilometers away from Camogli. Follow the direction indicated until you find the road splits into up or down. Take the down ramp and shortly, you will be see the hotel’s entrance to the parking lot. |
