Owned by the Ponte family and dating back to the 16th century, the hotel El Patio is situated in the middle of a vast 60-acre banana plantation, just 2 km from the legendary village of Garachico, in the volcanic coastal region of northeastern Tenerife.
The name is most appropriate as it boasts an enormous patio full of palm trees and plants. The outbuildings, coach houses, lofts, and wine cellars have all been renovated. Every care has been taken to preserve the original charm and rustic setting, and at the same time offer the comfort and standards of modern accommodation.
Due to its historical, artistic and ecological value, the authorities have declared the house a protected site.

ll	Tips & Getting There

The Finca is located between the two towns of “Garachico” and “Icod de los Vinos”. Coming from the Icod direction, make a right on the Bar El Guincho; some meters ahead you will find the green gates of the Finca, you will then pass the Water storage (to your right), the Hermitage (to your left) and after this, take the first road to the left and you will arrive at the Hotel El Patio.
