Certain words spring to mind when describing El Peregrino: refinement, charm, elegance and luxury. They demonstrate that el Peregrino is, without doubt, one of the finest addresses in the whole of northern Spain and a place that is rightly proud of its commitment to excellence. So don’t be put off by the main road nearby which might be an initial distraction to some. More importantly, the attractive, earthy coloured building and well-kept garden both hint at what is to come inside and the visitor will not be disappointed. The interior is notable for its superb decoration, furnishings with fine sculptures, antique pieces, paintings and spacious rooms, all laid out in a manner that is both homely and luxurious at the same time. The name of el Peregrino (the pilgrim) also offers a clue to its history. It is on the pilgrim route to Santiago or, as the hotel likes to put it “Along the way of the stars”. Hence, the area has much to offer in monuments, including the Puente la Reina, the 12th century church at Eunate, Olite to name a few. Nature is also well represented locally by the Sierra de Urbasa, Selva de Irat and Bértiz Natural Park, a veritable botanical garden. Alternately, anyone needing to be pampered may just decide to stay in, relax, smoke a Cuban cigar by the fireplace and try the excellent cuisine in the house restaurant, which, like everything else at the el Peregrino, is prepared with loving care.

Puente la Reina is located in the Middle Area of Navarre at just 24 kilometres from Pamplona, in the direction of Logroño. Its good communications and privileged location on the map of Navarre make it an ideal place to stay. From there you can plan daily excursions to any of the many places of cultural, historic and artistic interest that make up the heritage of Navarre.

The Hotel El Peregrino enjoys an enviable geographic position, situated in the Middle Area of Navarre. This means that Pamplona, the capital city of Navarre is close by, and the hotel has very good access to the principal communication infrastructures. This is the case with the Airport at Noain, which can be reached from the hotel by road in just over ten minutes.
