Good value for money Lisbon coast hotel

The Hotel Inglaterra used to have a slightly run down feeling and look, its main selling point being the excellent location in the heart of one of Portugal’s leading holiday regions. Happily, things have changed for the better. The great location is still there, of course, as is the revamped early 20th century style façade. Inside, however, much has been done to reinvent the hotel Inglaterra and give it a new look. Furnishings, décor and facilities are now done in an up to date and modern style. The improvement to the Hotel Inglaterra has been such that we had to include it in our guide as a good value for money hotel. Being within walking distance to the beach, the railway station and excellent shopping facilities are further plus points, as is the good sized swimming pool.

ll	Tips & Getting There

On leaving Lisbon airport, follow the sign marked Estoril/Cascais (blue and white sign). We suggest staying on the right light.
Carry on following these instructions and head along the A1 Circular Lisboa/Cascais, eventually going onto the A5 motorway in diretion of Cascais.
This strecth of motorway lasts for about 3 km. As points of references, you will pass the Sporting Lisbon football stadium on the right, then the Mcdonalds restaurant on the left and eventually the Benfica stadium, also on the left. Always carry on the right hand lane.

Carying on, you will come to a diversion. Follow the sign for the A5 which takes you to Cascais/Estoril. Carry on and turn off at exit 4.

You are now on the A5 motorway. Drive on for approximately 17 km until you pass a toll booth. Carry on until you reach the 2nd exit after the toll (Cascai/Estoril). Always follow the Estoril Centro signs.

YOu will eventually come to a roundabout where you should turn 2nd on the right and then 1st on the left, go downhill throiugh Avenida Portugal. The HOtel Inglaterra is located at the end of this avenue on the left hand side.
