A seaside holiday Brittany style means wonderful coastline, some of the sea best food restaurants anywhere, and an unhurried pace of life, where fisherman still ply their trade and set off to sea following the tempo of the tides. The scene is thus set for a truly satisfying stay at the Baie des Anges, especially if what you are looking for is a gentle, get away from it all holiday rather than an all action vacation. Overlooking the beach (all you have to do is cross the small road), what lies before you is never ending sea, with the salt water spray gently lapping the windows of the hotel, rain or shine.

True to form, decoration takes in the main colours of the sea – blue and green – and has been kept simple and unpretentious, as if not to distract you from the natural beauty that surrounds you.

In short, it is a real sanctuary of peace by the Brittany coast and whilst there are a number of activities available in the area, Oceánopolis, cycling (not too tiring given the relatively flat land that surrounds the Baie des Anges), it is our guess that you’ll spend much of the time here looking out to sea, perhaps relaxing on the terrace or the lounge bar with a book.

Sand Yacht:
Experiment new sensations driving a sand yach on the low tide foreshore at "Rêve de Mer" at Plonéour-Trez. It is also possible to practice sand-yachting at Santec and Gissény.

Diving:

Aber Wrac'h plongée (diving club) offers excursions and lessons in the abers. Many beautiful spots in the area like "Roche aux moine" (Monks Rock) and "Armocco"

Sailing/Kite Surfing:
To see kite surfers, the best spot is located on Sainte Marguerite dunes. To learn and practice, the best teacher is undoubtedly François Maguérez (tel: 33 6 78 02 52 48)
